Crystal Morla

Crystal has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and is an author, speaker and bible teacher. Crystal has worked in teaching, mental health, and community and prevention programs in the Chicago area for over 25 years.

Crystal is a featured author in the May 2026 issue of Homelife magazine. Her article looks at  God’s purposes in allowing fear, suffering and anxiety in our lives   (https://www.lifeway.com/en/product-family/homelife-magazine) . Crystal has also authored a blog post on race reconciliation in the church for Revive Our Hearts ministry (https://www.reviveourhearts.com/contributors/crystal-morla/). She was interviewed by WBEZ radio (https://backstoryradio.org/blog/integrated-solutions/) on her experience with participating in an Integration and Race Relations project in the 1960s.

Crystal  facilitates workshops and gives presentations on  a variety of topics including mental health and wellness, race relations, healthy marriage and other topics that are grounded in biblical truth and wisdom. She speaks in churches and ministries to equip ministry leaders and their ministries to build unity and support personal and corporate revival. 

In May 2026, Crystal will release her Keys for Kingdom Living Podcast study of the book of Exodus to help listeners focus on God’s kingdom building work and its meaning for us today. 

In her spare time Crystal enjoys long walks in nature with family and friends, reading, and tea. She has been married for 34 years to her husband Alex and they are blessed with two precious adult children,  Xavier and his wife Riza.
